Fruit dropped in water shoot…

by am109145

A very time consuming and difficult shoot to conduct however after seeing the post-production results I feel satisfied that the 4 hours spent and the 1518 shots taken I have got a good set of overall images. The large amount of shots taken on the shoot reflect the difficulty in dropping the fruit in synchronisation with clicking the shutter along with trying to get the fruit to hit the water in a way that reflects that it us a strawberry. Avoiding the reflection of light on the glass bowl was another challenging part of the shoot along with making sure health and safety wise that the splashed of water did not come close to the equipment used.

Black background shoots were fairly challenging, it was increasingly difficult to get ride of the reflection go the light on the round glass bowl, it would have been easier if I used a fish tank type of bowl the light would have been easy to control on the flat surface in comparison to the rounded bowl shape surface where the light bounces from different angles.
