Fashion photography: The outcome…
After the collar was confirmed to be complete by Eve McBennette it was time to take the portfolio images that she requested! So the situation in terms of lighting, space, and location resulted in us having to shoot at home in a bedroom environment at night ! (not the best of locations of timings of the day) but it had to be done!
– Large lamp
– Nikon D5100 SLR
– Metz 4 Flash
– A BIG LAMP (its the best we could do)
So here are the images that Eve selected from the numerous rounds of shooting we conducted that evening:
LOCATION: Bedroom white wall
TIME OF DAY: 21:00 (night)
CAMERA ROLL TIME: 21.30
I found the circumstances of this shoot fairly restricting, only having a bedroom white wall environment to shoot in and minimal equipment was a tough challenge. However I feel and most importantly Eve was happy with the outcome of the shoot! As you can see from the images above the main detail and purpose was to capture and enhance the aesthetic of the collar which has been done, the texture of the material is also prominent in the images. We also shot the images in colour however after editing and putting the images onto a screen based format Eve felt and I felt and the model felt that black and white made the images look so much more classy and elegant.
